Introduction

The DYTYP series comprises variable-frequency speed-regulating three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors rated from 5.5 to 160 kW. The catalog specifies a fully enclosed construction with self-cooling or an independent fan, F-class insulation, S1 duty and IP55 protection. Standard voltage is 380 V, with other voltages available on request, and the motor is powered by a variable-frequency drive. The catalog specifies constant-torque operation up to rated frequency and constant-power operation above rated frequency. Applications include fans, pumps, compressors, belt conveyors and other machinery used in petrochemical, mining and textile operations.

Model Designation

DYTYP 132S 15-7.5 L: DYTYP identifies the variable-frequency PMSM series; 132S is the frame size; 15 denotes 1,500 r/min; 7.5 is rated output in kW; L denotes an aluminium housing. If L is omitted, the housing is cast iron.
